The Peerman Family
Our family started building portable cabins in 2018 on our ranch in Whitefish , MT. At the time our family also owned a Bed and Breakfast in Whitefish called The Farmhouse Inn and Kitchen. We raised organic livestock on our ranch and used the meat in our restaurant at the B&B. We built our first cabin on our ranch to use as a guest cabin for extra lodging when our rooms would fill at the B&B. Guests got to experience a real working Montana ranch! Over the following years we have built dozens of cabins throughout Montana, even a few resorts with multiple cabins.
During the Covid months we were renovating our house and could not find flooring, bathroom vanities or even furniture that wasn't overpriced or months out on delivery. So we began building our own. We liked them so much we started selling those too. At Glacier Timbercraft, we take pride in our craftsmanship and attention to detail. Our team of skilled woodworkers is dedicated to creating high-quality, custom pieces that stand the test of time.
